The only difficult part about planning Crowley Lake fly fishing trips is deciding how long you want to fish. With more than 275 days of sunshine per year, it’s easy to see why those who take advantage of the clean waters of the “fish factory” want to keep fishing as long as they can.
But while it’s tempting to want to stay out on the lake all day, there are some serious factors to consider when booking your guided fly fishing trip with me. Let’s take a look at some of the benefits and potential challenges of half- and full-day Crowley Lake fly fishing trips.
Before we get into the specifics of half- and full-day trips, let’s talk about how easy it is to take these trips. I’ve been fortunate enough to have people from all over come out on the lake with me. And while that’s humbling, I know not everyone wants to or can bring gear with them.
Not a problem! When you book tour trip with me, I provide everything you need to ensure you have a great day fishing for some of California’s best trout, including:
All you need to bring is your California state fishing license and valid state ID. I’ll cover the rest, and we’ll have a great time on the lake!
Whether you book a half- or full-day, we get an early start. Our half-day trip will begin at 6:30 am and last until 12:30 pm. But if the fish continue to bite, we’ll hang around a little later until they stop.
Crowley Lake is known to have some of the state’s best trout fishing, and I’m confident that you’ll find that six or more hours on the lake will deliver the fishing and awesome outdoor experience you’re looking for!
Whether you’re flying solo, bringing a buddy or partner, or two more people, I’ve got you covered. I’m happy to offer the following rates:
Whether you’ve been fishing for a short time or are a life-long angler, you know how addicting fishing can be. And, if you’re like the rest of us, you want to spend as much time on the lake as possible. I understand this—especially since Crowley Lake’s fishing is so good.
But as great as the fishing, scenery, and experience can be, full-day trips are a dangerous option. Because of the lake’s geography, daily winds come up each afternoon, creating an unsafe environment for anglers. For this reason, I strongly recommend half-day trips.
But if you’re interested in more information on full-day options, don’t hesitate to reach out to me. And don’t worry: a half-day option promises an excellent opportunity for some of the best fly fishing around, and a great time outdoors.
Want to make your fishing trip even better? There’s nothing like spending several hours on the lake and having a comfortable place to stay not far away. I’m happy to offer a truly awesome experience with a stay on the lake in the RV park, complete with full hookups. If you choose this option, you’ll stay in a 32-foot 2020 Keystone Springdale, making your fly fishing trip one of the most comfortable ways to experience Crowley Lake.
If you’re ready to experience trout fishing and scenery you’re likely to never forget, come fishing with me on Crowley Lake. Whether you want a half- or full-day, or just have questions about the experience and logistics, reach out to me today, and let’s book your next fly fishing trip.
